Is live sand worth it?

Exactly how beneficial is live sand as opposed to the pet store/home depot sand?

No need to buy live sand. Way overpriced for what you're getting. May as well get the cheapest Aragonite sand you can find and invest the extra money into more LR!

Agree with above. besides if you purchase LR, it will quickly seed your sand with life.
