Hi,
Ive seen on google that there's a possibility that my ram could either be pregnant or have some sort of bowel disease? Im wondering if somebody on here could share their ideas as to what it might be and any advice on what to do with the ram if she is pregnant?
Would I need to isolate it? Set up the old 25L tank, add live plants??
What would the best thing to do be?

Thanks in advance

Rams lay eggs .
You have a female there for sure .
Do you have a male to go with her ?
Rams are considered pretty difficult to breed AND raise ..
She looks healthy and happy IMO .

Would I need to move them into a separate tank or would they be ok to stay where ever she decides to lay her eggs? Ive ordered a java moss coconut cave so there's additional hiding spots...

We have a gold male ram that seems to be looking after her, not sure if they have paired.
We bought the blue ram for them to pair but looks to be already pregnant from the store.

They are best in a tank by themselves for breeding .
It does not need to be large . 5 g works fine for me .
I use a terra cotta pot bottom [ the water tray] for the rams to breed on since they like pits ..
The hardness of the water will determine if the eggs can become fertile .
Too hard and no go . [ First hurdle]
I use RO mixed with my tap to get a TDS of 100 and kept the water about 82-84.
