I am stetting up a 20 gallon reef and I accidentally had my sand and rock in brackish salinity of 1.016 as I said I'm new to reefs so is there a chance they died?

Should b fine, think only affects live stock. Once the shop gave me ro water instead of saltwater and never tested as trusted as use to test all the time but learnt lesson hard way as all my crabs m, snails and shrimp died but fish were fine and was in tank for about 14 hrs as was after closing time so had to ride it out which ain't nice haha
