Is my live rock still alive?

I used to have a saltwater tank, but there was a long power outage and everything died about six months ago. It just kinda sat there with no filter or heater, but there was always water in it. Is the live rock still alive or should I buy more? Please help aquarium experts!

Well it depends on your definition of "Live". If its the same as the bagged sand people, then it's live as can be! It's probably pretty white and bleak looking now though I'd imagine. Are there any pods left you can see? If it was me I would definetly buy some really nice stuff so that you'll have all the biodiversity that good live rock brings with it.
