Also, sorry about the misuse of squaring off. They dont actually look square like like guppies do but they get pretty boxy. You will have some time before they drop. I would say a week and a half to two.

They can be rather persistent the males... So yes. Just a follow up question, what is your male female ratio? You should maintain a ratio of 1 m : 2 f preferably even more females to keep the male aggression spread out.
