Is this ich?

He's been swimming around erratically, bumping against walls, rubbing against plants and pulling his fins in and sinking to the bottom. Can anyone give me some advice?

Thank you so much, I’ll be sure to look over all these links and yes I am very new to fish keeping. I do hope to give my fish a good life. I was looking online to see how I should medicate him and it said it’s either ich, velvet or a fin fracture. I ruled out the fin fracture and was really worried about if it was velvet. And that I could misdiagnose so I ended up making an account and asking here. I then started researching medication and realized that ich x cures both ich and velvet. A little less worried i went to sleep as it was 12am and woke up early and bought ich x from my local fish store. Now my fishie is spot free and happy again

Make sure to complete the treatment as directed.

Make sure also to keep the water temperature matched when you do water changes.
