I just moved everything in my tank to another tank, and I noticed this on one of my fish. I've had that fish for over a month, and don't see anything like it on my other fish. It's loose on the side of the fish, and I don't see him scratching.

Could I have injured his scales in transport?

More than likely. I do not see signs of your "typical" parasite, definately not C. irritans.

Do keep a good eye on it though and maintain the best water quality/diet you can. You want to avoid secondary infection/opportunistic parasites.

Cheers
Steve
