Im going to be buying a 135gal tank soon probably going to be planted discus comunity.... would a hagen fluval fx5 be to much filtration for the tank?

fluval fx5 is rated for 400 gallons.

It should be fine. And discus could use the extra filtration.
If there is too much current, get a spray bar so that it will diffuse the output.

I know Fluval spray bar kits are sold separately...

school of blue tetras, school of bloodfin tetras, school of marble hatchet fish, 8 or so discus (not shure on the colours proli blue diamonds to start), maybe some corys for a clean up crew, and maybe a gold royal pleco.... ya cool tank was the least i was going for

Rummynose tetras would go great with the setup you are describing
