I bought these algae wafers for the fish to munch but looked at the ingredients and was surprised to see all this copper this copper that in here. Is it safe for my snail and shrimp?

Copper is necessary for blood production in the shrimp so a tiny amount is needed for health. If it is from a company which makes food for shrimp like /Fluval or Hikari, they are fine, but I can't really say without knowing.

These are the API Algae Eater wafers. It states that is is for fish. But everything else is eating it too.
Try emaling or calling API and see what they say. I think it would be okay but I haven't used it to know that answer
