I'm thinking about adding live plants to one of my 10g tanks. I don't have a fixture right now. I will go out and get one this weekend though. I really want to keep the costs as LOW as possible. What fixture/bulb should I get? Also, what kind of plants do you recommend? I would like lots!

If you have a hood already I would just get cfl's provided you can screw them in. I think that'd be the cheapest and most effective lighting option

Agreed. I use the 6500k screw ins for my 10s. You can get them for much cheaper at places like Walmart.

Yeah I don't have a hood... I think I'll just pick up a cheap one. If I can find one
