Java Fern going brown, CO2 needed??

Well guys, since I've only been leaving the light on for 8 hours a day, the algae has started disappearing off the leaves, and the brown has just started to go as well! Very happy. I expect, with the rate it's going, that all the brown will be gone by the end of this week. Thank you for your help.

I may be ordering some Wisteria, Java Moss and Anacharis from eBay later this week. Will they be good with this light for 8 hours a day?

Yes they are all lower light plants and are not very demanding. Glad to hear the reduced lighting cycle is working out for you.

That is possible but with the algae present in the tank I think in this case it was more due to excess lighting. Only time will tell I suppose.
