Somehow some Java Moss got from an aquarium in the pet store to the pond in my neighbor's backyard. It's been there for the past 2 years and is growing strong. I can imagine that it spread from little leaf buds (just like most other asian moss-like plants) but I didn't know it could survive missouri winters.
