Jebo's Protein Skimmer.

I've read some good reviews from Jebo's Protein Skimmer. I haven't get a protein skimmer yet. How essential is a protein skimmer on a 10gal. fish and rock tank? Will it help on nitrates too? Is Jebo's PS worth a try? I've read is good but won't work on a large tank as it promises but does work on -up to 50's gal. tank.

A skimmer isnt really worth the trouble on a small tank. It will pull stuff from the water, but doing a PWC each week will out perform the skimmer many times over.

Just 2g a week on that tank and youll have nice water!(assuming reasonable feeding habits)

Id just buy more salt and do more PWCs with the money instead of buying the skimmer.

Nice to know. I made a 5gal PW change on thursday b4 going on vacations and will do another one today... b4 going on a peaceful vacation again. Thanx a lot Matt.
