jewel cichlid

today i moved some fish to their new aquarium most of the fishes reacted very well they seem happy swimming around and exploring the new tank but theres one the jewel cichlid did not do so well since i moved him today hes been hidding in a cave and his color from the belly to his mouth change to red something i haven't saw on him since i bought him could he be affected by the new water or hes stressed?

Jewel cichlids have red around them. The bottom of mine is all ready.
Cichlids like caves and hiding spots so he might be just getting use to the new tank.
