Ok this is what it looked like before and after ...

The tank was overstocked " I purchased this off of cl that way"

There was a total of 10 fish in the 47 gallon column tank.

I took 6 fish back to the lfs.

I bought a valentine puffer to add to the new design.

Current live stock after re design

1. Engineer golby
2. Two Cinnamon clowns
3. Three stripe damsel
4. Valentine puffer
.a total of five fish and some hermit crabs and snails

40 pounds of Marco key largo dry rock Cured and
60 pounds of western live Caribbean sand

Also added a power head.

Any comments welcome

Here's some more ...

Now as you can see in the first pic of the tank with the old fish decor " Greek column"
My engineer golby would stay under it and never come out." he loved it there" it's been almost 48 hours and my engineer golby has not settled down yet he just keeps swimming all over the place"

Any advice

But do you think my engineer golby will settle down. He keeps swimming around the tank like he is crazy

It's has been two days and he is still all
Over the place

Hopefully all that rock is touching glass bottom... I just got rid of an engineer goby because he dug sand out and my rocks shifted... Made quite the mess lol

Lmao just posted a new thread cause my golby made my rocks fell.. Guess I'm gonna have to take the rocks out and find a better way of securing them..

Bangs head

I wanted an engineer pretty badly... I started having issues with him, talked to my LFS who convinced me to get him outta the tank. If you think that he's gonna be a pain and want him out, I would do it now before you rebuild your rock, because you will need to take it all out to net him... Speaking from experience lol. Either way, good luck and lemme know how he works out!

Next to my valentini puffer my engineer golby is my favorite fish. Noway I'm getting rid of him lol.

I'm just gonna secure the rock better.

Yea good call... I responded on ur other thread... You would want the rocks touching glass, so they're not affected by sand being moved. Good luck!

Ok so here it goes. After the rocks fell cause my engineer golby digs toooooooo much I made a bigger base and used the back of the glass to support the structure.

What do y'all think.

I see more hiding spots and what appears to be a lot more rocks.

Water is cloudy still from moving the rocks around.

In my opinion I like that look a lot better. Plus it will be harder for him to knock down :)
