I just fed the inverts in my biocube..not really a big deal most of the time. I drop some pellets in for the peppermint shrip and larger hermits and some bloodworms or such for the rest and everyone happily munches. To keep food from flying all over the tank or into the media, I shut off the pumps for a few minutes.
Well, one of the peppermint shrimp was up front and some pellets that hadn't sunk yet, well, sank. Three of them bopped that shrimp square in the head and that shrimp jumped like it was hit with a cattle prod . Of course, it immediately ate the "offending" pellets.
