May seem like a dumb question, but if you get water ready and conditioned in a bucket airing over night, etc. How do you keep it warm to replace when you do a water change. Do you change a small amount at a time so not to upset the water temps too much? Do you add a heater to your bucket and what kind? Just looking for best idea to get the water as close to tank temp as I can before replacing in tank. Thanks.

if you are adding water conditioner why do you leave the buckets out over night? water conditioner works instantly and does not need to sit out.

That's typically only done to remove chlorine when water conditioners are not used, though it does nothing for heavy metals or for chloramines which is another use of water conditioners
