I have an outdoor pond in PA. It's 6 Ft.dia. and 2.5 Ft.deep. It's a lined pond with a Davio filter. I have 2 KOI and 6 Comets. Do I have to do water changes like with an aquarium? If so, please advise/recommend what I should be doing? Thanks for the help! :thanks:

No water changes required. Stop feeding when water temperature reaches 55ish F, get a deicer by way of pump and/or doughnut heater for winter.

Edit: Also, you're pretty much maxed out on stocking(for the adult sizes), too. Your pond is 530 us gallons for reference.

One more thing, is your pond above or in ground? I only ask because 2.5 feet above ground that far north might be risky and you would do well to have a deicer pump. As long as the water is liquid the fish will survive. You can't "super cool" the water with a pump if there is ice on the pond so no worries if you've been told that myth.
