Aquarium Advice Freak
I have to admit, I am a little impatient. But after a couple of months of waiting, my kribs finally had babies!!! Today I looked at my 40 gallon tank to see not 1, not 2, but at least 30 kribs in that tank. The 2 parents seem to be changing shifts every now and again. I saw; them today with at least 30 something fry. What do I feed them? Right now I'm feeding them this catfish shrimp pellet that breaks down udewrwater into peices smalll enough for the fry to eat I think. I also tried some crushed food (I just took a bunch of adult food and ground it up in my mortar). And I'm also debating whether or not I should start a baby brine shrimp culture. First time cichlid, not first egglayer, but no previous ones survived. To my knowledge, this is the first batch of fry that made it out of the cave. But I do have experience with livebearers, and failed attempts with danios and cories (died at 4-6 weeks.) Bottom line: HELP!!!
