A freind & client of mine has a large aquarium(So large I'm Jealous)
He has an apple snail in it together with numerous other fish.
He reckons That the apple snail is killing his frogs
I said did you catch the snail the other night
He replied
Hi,

Yes I did, unfortunately the kribensis killed it, also the aquatic frog that I had as well!

Not able to catch this pain in the neck, so i dont know what i can do, as my Aquarium is 36"high x 36"long x 20"wide, with loads of hideing places, that I cannot move with out destroying the Aquarium.

Any advice?
Well does anyone know how to catch him? Without destroying the tank.
Be quick in your thoughts he doesnt want to lose any more livestock
And does anyone know about apple snails?
Regards

Very unlikely that the apple snail is killing the frogs. A more likely explanation is that the kribensis are breeding somewhere in the tank and are really territorial.

Not able to catch this pain in the neck

Is he reffering to the kribensis or the apple snail?

The Krib--- or whatever you call it? what is it anyway? I forgot to ask him
Regards

The Krib aka Kribensis is a type of dwarf cichlid. There is a picture of one in my gallery

Sure he's a grand little man. Shouldnt be that hard to catch, But how?
Regards

Snail will be easy to catch just put some lattice or some other plant/food in the tank leave light of and then thee should be snail(s) on it. I use that method for the annoying common snails.

However if it is the Krib, that will be hard to catch .. I am not sure how to catch them other than with a net when they are out.

Sorry if this was not any use at all to you.
