Led vs flouresent

Got another 60g tank this one wont be planted, but wanted to know the pros and cons between the two, anyone?
 
Big initial cost for leds, I haven't seen any in person that convince me it is that much better yet though. I have heard they are catching up though.

If you do fluorescents I would do HO T5 with individual curved reflectors, how many bulbs will depend on how high tech you want to go. They are more expensive long term because of the need to replace bulbs, but you can customize the bulbs (by brand and color) as you see fit.
 
for non planted tanks led lights are cheap. you dont need to go with high wattage for the plants just enough light to see the fish and they cost so much less in electric to run and never have to replace the bulb.
