My one colorful shrimp. The rest don't have suck a strong red. This guy sticks out

I have amano & red cherry shrimps. Wish I had more variety but...shrimps are expensive haha! :blink: Cool thread, beautiful shrimps everybody (y)

Do these guys get along with smaller shrimp like RCS.

They wouldn't bother them.

BUT... Bamboo Shrimp are filter feeders and like to filter the tank of food particles. Also "clean" water though, like all shrimp.

RCS need pristine water parameters, so imo, these two kinds don't really belong in the same tank long term. You would need to do several times per week pwc after feeding the filter feeder. In addition, the Bamboo shrimp should be in a mature tank with stable parameters and plenty of biofilm and natural bacteria stuff for the filter feeder in addition to the food that you feed them.

Whats the red dotted one? Never seen that one around here in my parts.
