I have a Coralife Lunar Aqua light and noticed today that 2 of the lunar lights are not working is there any way of taking those lunar lights out to look at them.

I also broke down and bought a HOB refugium yesterday and packed it with chaeto to help with the hair algae i have. Was buying the Refugium a good choice.

That will help cut down on the nitrates but remember it's a 2 ended proposition. Now you have to change the habits that got you the algae to begin with (type of food, type of water, feed to much, etc).

I always think of my macro as insurance and not the solution.

thanx for your reply yeah i know i changed my habits that got me there in the first place. but i need some help that is where the fuge comes into play

make it dual purpose. but a couple of inches of sand and a couple of peices of LR in the refegium and copepods will breed in there. great for always having food for a mandrin
