lighting for 75gal reef

I wonder how you guys have your lighting. Currently I have my timer for tge day light from 11-5pm and blue light 5-12 am then its completely dark. Or there might be better way for a healthier tank. I'm using 48" deep blue solarmax T5 .

I have my blue lights come on 30 minutes before the White's and 30 minutes after the Whites go out. My cycle starts a 1M and ends at 9M so I can watch my fish in the evening and know they are off before I go to bed. I use a X-10 system to control my lights and pumps. I even have a remote control.
