Lighting for a 2.5?

Hi all,


I am planning on starting up a 2.5 planted shrimp tank. The tank I am planning on getting comes with glass top but no light fixture. I have been unsuccessful at find a hood for the dimensions in this tank.

Here are some pictures. One of the tank and one with the dimensions near the bottom. If anyone could point be towards a good light fixture and even a bulb, that would be great!

Also, the shelf I am placing this tank on Is only 11 inches tall

Something like this could work well - though you would want to confirm it will fit over the rim on the tank you have linked.

Thanks! Although I don't believe it will fit on the shelf I am planning on putting it on...

Would a light like this work on low light plants? Or maybe mid lighting plants?
