Hey guys,
Trying to plan out this tank, but I'm having trouble working out the type of lighting I need due to it being 24" deep.
I'm aiming for the med-high lighting to get some nice plants growing.
Don't panic, I have co2 sorted.
The hood already has a 3' lighting fixture built in that powers 3x39w T5 bulbs. Not sure about the details of fixture itself, cause it's fitted tightly into the hood.
The tank is L47" x W18" x H24" the two front corners are curved so I'm guessing it can hold about 320L (85G)
Do I need a better lighting fixture?
Add extra lighting?
Or can I make it work with 3 quality T5 bulbs?
Any help or links to other posts that will help would be great.
