This is probably a stupid question but, i can't figure this out. The lights on my oceanic biocube have 2 buttons on top. Daytime lights you can change it to a light blue or deep blue. There is no off button to turn the lights off so do i leave the deep blue ones on all night or do i unplug them at night?

the 14 biocube has the 50000k bulb, the actinic bulb, and then "moon" led lights---the led lights stay on 24hrs (giving "daytime" lighting a small blue tint), the 50k (large white bulb), and actinic (the large blue bulb) are both controllable. I would assume the systems are the same since the 14 also has the two separate on/off switches--you'll know if you switch them both off, there are two tiny blue lights that stay on-those are the led's--hope this helps...sarah
