Got a neat looking piece of live rock a while back, and just now (11:30pm) I'm turning off the lights in my tank and I see these little red what look like feather dusters. But they have a skeleton per se in the rock. My phones camera isn't all that great but does anyone have any idea?

And there's a weird bivalve looking component to the top of the rock, any clue?

Thanks in advance guys!!

Hard to see but almost looks like a clam.

Well, for starters, its not flame scallops as suggested they do not attach to rocks. The red things are hard to make out, but the look like brightly colored feather duster worms in which case that is a score.

Now for the bad news. There is a big aptasia anemone on there too that needs to be dealt with before it spreads.

Yes I know about the apitasia. Im dealing with a pretty good infestation. And they do look like little feather dusters...
