I put in a Anubias plant about a week ago and and I still haven't seen and pecks or rips in the plant. How long do you thing this is going to last?

What fish are in the tank? A lot of cichlids co-exist fine with plants.

Anubias is a tough plant so unless you have some super cichlid, the plant should be fine.
