Can someone give me advice on how much live rock I need for a 36 gallon tank.

In my 36 gallon I have alittle over 50lbs of LR. 1-1.5 lbs of LR per gallon.

yeah 1-1.5 lbs of rock per g in your tank. That's a good starting place. Just remove/add a bit of rock to get the rockscape you want at that point.

I liked a more minimalist approach to my rockscape. So i think I did about .75lb per g in my display tank, and another .75lb/g in my sump. It's all really up to you.
