No personal experience here, but I hear liveaquaria has decent rock for the price. You want to see about working our a deal with a LFS for buying an entire box when it comes in. The one by me will reduce the cost if you commit to a box.
I ordered live rock and other goods from www.petsolutions.com, and was very pleased with everything I recieved. The rock has great color and new organisms appear all of the time.
I am under the impression that liveaquaria also has quality live stock/rock. I use both of these sites as a starter point for basic info on any species or product.
I agree with the liveaquaria idea if it is for the show part of the tank. They have pretty rock. If it is going in the sump, you can probably find it pretty cheap somewhere else.
I will chime in here liveaquaria.com has good LR but Check out www.thatfishplace.com. They are in Pa they have a very nice selection I think 5 different types.
