Has anyone ever had a problem with lobster in a smaller tank?

If you're talking about an actual "lobster", then you're in the wrong section as lobsters are saltwater animals.

If you're talking about a crayfish, then depending on the species, your tank size is important. What size tank are you talking about?

They call it a blue lobster and it is freshwater. I have a 10 gallon right now.

Yeah some people do call it a "blue lobster" but it is indeed a crayfish. A 10 gallon tank will be fine for one crayfish of that type. Don't add any more crayfish or fish, as it will eat the fish.
