Looking for a light tan substrate for 50 gal planted tank...

I'm under the impression that Eco-Complete is an awesome substrate. Frankly, I'd probably get it if I wanted black or red soil... but I don't. I'm looking for a sand or tan colored bottom. Even whitish.

Any suggestions?

I am building a planted 50 gallon tank without CO2.

Most pool filter sands would be in that color range. Plants will grow well in it.

Yeah, PFS would be your cheapest route, and it's really good stuff too.

Just wanted to update you all. I gave in and went with Leslie pool sand. $20 instead of $100.
