 well sadly I lost a puffer. Spyro, one of my 4 SA puffers has passed away. I had to trim all of my puffers teeth before heading away on work and he was the only of the 4 to not recover from the trauma of having his teeth clipped. All of the others recovered and are happy and eating like little pigs. Spyro unfortunatley did not feel quite the same about being pulled from his tank and put in clove oil, handled and teeth trimmed. Understandably this is alot of stress for any fish, I'm amazed that the others are ok. I tried to quarentine him, medicated him added salt and turned the heat up, but he passed by morning.

My poor Spy, RIP

you trimmed their teeth? Man... i gotta read up on Puffers... that's some really intracate work.

Really sorry to hear about the loss though. It's bad enough when you just see them dead - but to know they're in trouble is especially sad when you're not able to help them recover.
