Lost clown

So I had my two clowns and my cardinal in QT medicating them for the last two days. My wife gets out of bed and says "where's the other clown?" for the life of me I can't find him! The QT is a 15g fully enclosed. The only opening is at the bio wheel spillway but it's so narrow that I can't see how anything could get out! I checked the floor, everywhere! Tank is bare bottom with only two PVC elbows for hiding. He was my first fish. I'm so bummed!!

Have any cats or dogs? They could've eaten him if he jumped.

Yeah my dogs sleep in our room. I know there will be losses in this hobby. I've been told that a thousand times over, it just doesn't make it any easier!
