That's a tough one. I asked myself the same question before actually doing diy co2 and glut.
I'd imagine some mosses and of course algae would work. Sorry, I know thats not the answer your looking for.
I have dwarf sag in my tanks, but its only creating a lawn in my CO2 injected tank. In my others, it survives, but it hasn't spread to create a carpet effect since I planted it a year ago.
Depends on the look you want. I like the open area it creates in my 55g since I don't have anything else growing in the 'field', but in my 10g tanks, I don't want a large open area so it's nice to have as just a single small plant.
