Hey guys about to redo my 29 gallon tank to be a low tech dirted planted aquarium. I'm just having trouble with the lighting. Does anyone know of a fixture that is cheap but good for a low light 29 gallon?

I depends on what you mean by 'low light' really. What are you wanting to grow? A T5NO fixture or low-end T5HO (possibly dampened somehow) might be helpful.

If you have a standard tank hood with t8 bulb. You can just put a 6500k bulb from lowes or home depot in it. My used them on her low light 40g and they do just fine. Your tank is a bit taller but should be ok for low light plant.
