I have a small refugium that I built in a partition of my sump under a 29 tall. I am now ready to get some macro algae but can't decide what to get. What is the best for a reef tank?

Ok sounds great. How about a few mangroves? Do they do a good job of nitrate reduction as well?

Mangroves are slow growing and will absorb nutrients corals use, like magnesium, and are poor choices for nitrate reduction. They are cool though, I have 4 I'm messing around with currently.

Thank you for the info
