Malu Anemone

Hi everyone
I hope someone can help me, I am new to marine keeping and i just recently got myself an Anthopsis Koseirensis (pink malu anemone). It is just every couple of days he shrinks quite small and releases this gunky stringy stuff , can someone advise please.

Sounds as if he is expelling wastes. Unless he shrinks up and stays that way for days, I wouldn't be to concerned.

Thanks fluff for your quick respnse, i did think that myself but he is doing it every day sometimes.

Every day seems a bit extreme, once a week would be more common. Hmm. Are you feeding it? Is there anything near it that could be stressing it?
