Hey,

I just put these pieces of manzanita in my tank and they’ve grown a pretty thick layer of slime on them. I only have a couple guppies in the tank right now, so I’m not really worried about any fish, but I’m curious what the slime is and if I should take them out and toss boiling water on them a few times. Thoughts?IMG_3551.jpgIMG_3552.jpg

Oops, I just realized that I had the wrong board selected for this. ??

Looks like the typical fungus that initially grows on new driftwood. It's temporary & harmless.

Great, that’s what I was thinking as well, but I just wanted to be sure.
