I just spotted multiple tiny, insect like creatures in my tank. They are approx. 1 to 2 cm long, transparent, multiple legs and 2 antennae. They crawl on my live rock and I'm curious as to what they are and if they are harmful. If so how do I get rid of them and keep they away.

Thanks.

Yep copepods. They are tiny crustaceans that feed on detritus and other organic matter helping keep your tank clean. They are also very tasty snacks for fish, some fish almost completely rely on them for food.

So not to worry, harmless.
