Yeah I'm definitely struggling to keep it alive but I'm trying!!

In other news, my red purple eater is fully opened.

And my ricordea detached and is trying to find a spot he likes. I put him on a small rock on the sand bed with two upright rocks kinda keeping him there and hopefully he attaches

So, my light did a dive for the tank and two of me LEDs died. I'm down 6W. I'm at 12W right now.

Do you think I need to jump on ordering a new light or am I ok to wait until next payday? (Next tues)

I'm gonna stick the stock light back on in addition to the one I have now but I have no idea how many watts or the kelvin on it.

It's weird they came back on today at full and have been flickering between dim and fully lit. Hoping it's just drying out and it'll come back to normal

Glad to hear it's working If possible, taking it apart and setting it under a fan overnight could let you see if there's much component damage, and help it dry out.

Ok so tomorrow I am getting a red mushroom frag and a blue mushroom frag, a pulsing xenia frag, and a green trumpet frag.

Super excited! I also ordered a cool mushroom off eBay and am probably going to bid on some Valentine's Day massacre zoas and some other things before I complete the order.

On another note trying to decide if I want to put any inverts into the tank. Hmmmm.

Does anyone think those neon green hammers are bleaching from the bottom? I didn't think so but my boyfriend keeps pointing it out and now I'm worried about them lol.

I have the same Marineland that I've been going back and forth on what to do with.

Thanks Evaporation is not too bad. I top it off every day or every other day. I use the lid that came with it I just had my boyfriend cut the filter hole a bit larger for the filter I upgraded to. If I don't have the lid on the evaporation is worse. But manageable so far
