And another Thing im building my sump which is 16X8X14"what thinkness em i suposed to use? .25" maybe i dont know its for a 55.

I’ve never heard of a this stuff but I’m suspicious of this statement:
“Made of non-clogging, open-pore ceramic glass foam.”

I haven’t seen any media, especially ceramic media that didn’t clog eventually and lead to NO3 spikes.

Personally I’d just stick with LR and a decent skimmer to keep your tank clean.

Also 1\4" for a sump is fine IMO.

Ive deieded to go with just a ten gallon aquarium. Ill have to pump out all the water into my 50 gal barrel.

But if im just doing refugium how can i defuse the water so it dosent disturb the sand.
