George is the fabulous Betta I found today at Petco. I have never seen such a healthy Betta at the store before. There are no ammonia burns, or ripped, snaggley fins, or red gills.
He's in a 5 Gal hex tank with a black sand substrate, a decoration with nice sized holes, a few silk plants, a Betta log, and 7 tiny Kellifish. He'll be in the nursery 4 classroom when school starts.
He's named George after my favorite president, George Washington. He also has some gentle blue and green tinged reminiscent of the "Federalist Blue" and green colors the first president was partial to.
