MH screen UV sheild?

I was doing some reading and came across an article that said i will need to have some sort of UV screening to keep from damaging my fish and corals? Can anyone confirm this? And if so can someone point me into the direction i need? Thank you!

From what I understand only the double ended bulbs need the UV screening.

awsome, mine is just a standard xm 10k 175 watt

I was in a hurry at lunch time. What I should have said is that only the double ended bulbs need external sheilding. The other types that are single ended have a UV shield already built in. THe shield is actully the outer glass surface of the bulb.
