I bought a piece of branching live rock about a week ago, that looked like it had been used for frags, and lucky for me it had !! I now have a small colony of what appears to be pinkish star polyps.

I also have a thriving rock full of bright neon green star polyps. My question is this: Can I frag some of bright neon green to the new rock with the pink polyps? Will the colonies merge or have some kind of dividing line? Or will one overtake the other?

Thanks :n00b:

Being a peaceful coral, I would think it shouldn't be a problem but, I'm not really sure. It would be a fun experiment though. I would give it a shot. :D

I spent like ten minutes staring at that newbie emoticon. As for the polyp's they might compete for space but otherwise they should be fine.
