Hello everyone,
I have an orange and white Pot Belly Molly and I have read from many sources that you can breed Pot Belly's with Lyretails and you'll be able to get a Lyretail Pot Belly. That being said, my most favorable characteristic of both aforementioned fish are the pot belly and the fancy tail and would like to breed my fish in order to achieve basically a Pot Belly Molly with a fancy tail. Does anyone know how to tell if a Molly carries a dominant gene or not? I know in the horse world, you can sometimes tell which horse will have the most genetic influence when breeding due to their colour. Certain colours are an indication that the horse is genetically dominant. Does anyone know if this is true of Mollies at all? Thanks.
