Yes....that's a 'pirarucu', Arapaima gigas, which is the largest purely fresh-water fish in the world (reaching up to 5 meters in length). Like the Arowana, the Pirarucu is a member of the Osteoglossiformes. Fish the size of the one in the picture are very rare these days....most of them have been fished out.
i just finished school over in Denver, CO and the zoo there also has one that is HUGE.......never seen one before that
also have one of the biggest Turtles i have ever seen like a Galapagos Tortoise but in FW
