Hello all, I'm moving back to school in a week and I'm not sure exactly the best way to bring my tank.
It's a five gallon hex and I still have the box for it.
My current plan is to drain the tank almost completely into a bucket and leave about an inch of water or so for the gravel to stay wet, put it in the box and drive.
I was going to put my betta in a bag filled with water and then my ghost shrimp and snail in another bag with water. Would a clean starbucks cup work better than a bag? And I'm not sure of what I should do with my Marimo moss ball.
I know to keep the filter media in a ziplock back with water in it, but should I put that bag in the bucket just in case it open up?
And what about decorations? Do they go in a bag as well or should I just toss them in the bucket with the rest of the water?
Sorry for so many questions! I'm still new at this!
