My 125 gallon starting to look a little like a planted tank. I ordered some background plants. I am trying to decide what to do for ground cover. What do you all think?

Update. My 125 finished cycling last Friday. I went to my LFS and purchased some angels, panda mollies, two Cory cats, neons, and a rubber lip pleco To put in the tank. I also had two spotted cats, two albino Plecos, and 1 white Molly, 1 black Molly, and kuhli loaches in another tank that I transferred over. All are doing very well in there new space.

I added more plants last night. Here is a updated picture. Please let me know what you all think.

Before new plants were added.

Nice tank! Love the two color substrate.

Thank you for your kind words. I just wanted to do something different. I have red plant substrate on both sides and black plant substrate in the middle back and black sand in the middle front. I put the sand in there for my kuhli loaches.

Looks good. I just added some Java Moss to mine. It hasn't started growing in yet but I have high hopes for it. Maybe you should try some moss too?

Switch to a sponge filter will do the trick. Good luck

The babies are actually getting into my built in overflow boxes and taking a ride down to the sump area. I also have a canister filter on this tank as well but I plan to cover the intake with a stocking. I may do the sponge filter instead since I have a couple of those already. Thanks for the input.

I did a major rescape today on my 125. Added some more substrate and plants. Will take some pictures to upload tomorrow. Waiting for it to clear up.
